The June 20, 1975 came to theaters Steven Spielberg film "Jaws", known in Latin as "Jaws". The film is based on the novel of the author Peter Benchley, who also wrote the script with Carl Gottlieb.
The music of "Shark", winner of the Oscar for Best Soundtrack was composed by John Williams. The haunting and terrifying two notes of the title track were played by the tuba musician Tommy Johnson.
The story takes place on a beach of Amity Island, where the police Martin Brody (played by Roy Scheider) learns that a young woman died at sea, probably because of a shark attack. The village authorities decided to hide this fact by the threat posed to tourism.
But another attack carried Martin Brody to seek the help of a marine biologist (Richard Dreyfuss) and a shark hunter (Robert Shaw) to try to catch this deadly beast, who happens to be a great white shark. Spielberg's film was a box office hit, it went on to gross $ 260 million in the US and a total of 450 million worldwide.
As a mater of color, include Steven Spielberg shark named "Bruce" in honor of his personal lawyer.
